Le Retour is my first photo book, born out of my rediscovery of Iran after a 20-year absence. It combines poetry and photography in color. Halfway between a diary and a travel journal, the book takes the form of a passport and explores the connection to a distant home.
It is a sensitive homage to a feeling shared by diasporas around the world, that moment of return, when one seeks to reconnect with a distant heritage.
