The Return is a photo book based on a series of photos taken when I went back to Iran after 20 years of absence. It also contains poems that describe the feelings of being home as a person who grew up in the diaspora.

This book is how I see Iran. It is my homage to the country and its people.

It takes the form of a passport, an essential object for those who live far away from their loved ones.

The book is published by Four Eyes Editions, and will come out in February 2026
